Today was a rather peaceful day - by that I mean that I read about Gandhi's theory of non-violence, spent 2 hours at a lecture on pacifism, and then came home and put together a presentation on Gandhi's non-violence - but that's not the topic for today. Maybe another day when I'm not feeling quite so uninspired.
Instead, today we're focusing on art:
No, I didn't paint that picture; neither did Michelle; as a matter of fact, nor did anyone else in the house.
Joshua MacFawn did.
"Sometimes, you meet those people. The people in life that are going places, doing things, and just being incredible. Joshua Mac Fawn is one of those. I saw him stalking a professor today holding this brilliant piece of artwork, and I knew he was the next Picasso. He's already the next everything else, so why not throw in Picasso? Anyway, I loved his picture so much (and I usually don't like abstract art) he gave it to me. But I forced him to sign it first. So, when he becomes famous, I won't let him forget me.
Anyway, Joshie-Josh and I go way back, and we shall go way forward as well. Now I can treasure his face and green hair forever. Or at least until we move and the picture gets lost. But until then, Joshua, your head shall hang in our house (that sounds a little morbid...). Thanks for explaining to me how to play darts today...now I have a target :)" - Michelle
