Academics...

So, this evening I was working on a paper. Not exactly the most exciting evening, but this is college, right? I also went to a physics of music study session and partially listened to Brad working on his philosophical major honors presentations - not sure if that helps my excitement factor go up at all, but it does prove that my evening was academic.

Michelle's day was also fairly academic since she had her final chemistry lab TA session:

and spent the majority of the rest of her evening working on her other two chemistry classes (don't get her started on the number of tests she has at the moment or the fact that one is due on Study Day - definitely not allowed).

However, prior to this great evening of academics, my day was actually pretty exciting. Work at the library in the morning, followed by a senior worker appreciation lunch (love the amount of free food you get as a senior), and then a job interview.

Yes, you read that correctly, a job interview. I decided that 2ish (still working on the details...I'll keep you posted) part time jobs apparently weren't enough, so last week I called about a posting on the Westmont job site.

So, what is this job? I met with this couple in Montecito (and we're talking live-on-a-golf-course-in-the-nicest-part-of-town kind of Montecito couple) to be a caretaker / personal attendant or caretaker for the elderly gentleman. He's 88 years old, a veteran of WWII (he was stationed in Italy - irony, no?) and Korea, has Parkinson's and heart problems, and basically just needs someone with him at all times. So, I may be working there keeping him company, driving him places, etc. come May (again, still working on the details).

And then we went a looked a house. But more on that later.
Basically it was a pretty nice day, followed by my last evening of working on scholastic pursuits for my final day of class in my undergraduate career (not counting finals).
